Thirst for knowledge after work: The LIR at the Meenzer Science-Schoppe

This year's theme of “People and Learning” from the Mainz Science Alliance also enriches the Meenzer Science-Schoppe summer program with exciting contributions.

On September 3, 2025, Dr. Isabella Helmreich (LIR) and Karolin Ebi (University Clinic of Charlotte Fresenius University of Applied Sciences Wiesbaden) spoke about family resilience and the power of learning. They showed how cohesion and mutual support can strengthen families to overcome challenges. They also discussed how learning and growing together promote resilience and help people look ahead with confidence, even in difficult times.
